Edisun Power installs a solar power facility with a capacity of 145 kilowatts at the Zurich Exhibition Centre. At the time, this is already the 34th facility supplying power to the ewz solar power exchange.

In the first six months of 2009, the Edisun Power Group increases electricity revenues by almost 50% year on year to more than CHF 2 million. The EBITDA margin improves from 19% to 37%.

The first French systems, Super U, Open Club and Arthenas, are connected to the power grid.

Edisun Power completes the first rooftop facility in Spain. Installed on nine industrial roofs in the municipality of Salinas, the system has a capacity of 700 kilowatts.

Following a detailed evaluation, the Board of Directors of the Edisun Power Group appoints Mirjana Blume as CEO of Edisun Power Europe AG. As CFO she played a major role in the solar power company’s IPO in 2008.

December 2008
Together with three other companies working in the solar sector, Edisun Power Gruppe sets up the buying syndicate Yellow Hat.

El Trujillo, Edisun Power Iberia’s second plant, is connected to the grid. Around 20% of Edisun Power’s production capacity is now located on Spanish soil.

On 26 September, Edisun Power shares are traded for the first time on the main segment of the SIX Swiss Exchange, 11 years after the company’s foundation.

July 2008
El Tesoro, the first plant operated by Edisun Power Iberia, is completed and soon after begins supplying power to the public grid. El Tesoro is the only Edisun Power Group plant to have a single-axis tracking system.

June 2008
Edisun Power establishes its subsidiary Edisun Power France SAS in Lyon. Solar power installations integrated into buildings – Edisun Power’s core business – are particularly profitable in France.
