The Edisun Power Group is the first listed European solar power producer. An independent company, it finances and operates solar power plants in a number of European countries. The Edisun Power Group signs legally binding agreements with local power suppliers in a range of countries for the right to feed solar power into the public power grid at market prices for a period of 20 to 25 years.
Decades of experience
Edisun Power has been active in the field of solar power production since 1997, and is one of the most successful companies in the Swiss solar energy sector.
Since September 2008, Edisun Power Europe Ltd. has been listed at the SIX Swiss Exchange. The company has posted consistent growth in recent years, and has extensive experience in the implementation of both national and international projects. A key player in the attractive European market, Edisun Power has pioneered medium-sized solar projects and is now driving the energy transition with its focus on large-scale solar PV plants.
The Edisun Power Group’s headquarters are in Zurich. There are also subsidiaries in Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain, ensuring the efficient conduct of business.

At present, the company operates 34 solar power plants with total capacity of 106 megawatts in Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain.
